Phase:1 - Pre Work

I am extremely excited for the capstone project. After reading through the project I feel that, this might be our first step toward our respective chosen streams. This further adds onto my exhilaration towards the project. I expect this project to give me some clarity on several aspects of my individual self, along with my suitability and drive to be a designer in the future. It might also assist me to understand my capability with respect to my chosen stream. As it is an individual project, I expect it to be solely driven by me, giving me the choice to work how I feel suitable while gaining insight about my personal style. I hope to enhance my earlier gained knowledge as well as applying them during this project.

Rainy season is my favorite season and nothing gives me more happiness than to watch it rain while sitting with a hot beverage and some eatables. My most treasured memory of rain was in Meghalaya and it was something worth experiencing.

REFLECTION

My creative self was so far the most insightful reflection I have gathered about myself. I could see my strengths, areas of improvement, my personal style, etc. with facts in front of me. This gave me a sense of clarity as to who I am and gave me an in depth understanding of my creative potential. I can further use these realizations in the capstone project to enhance the journey and work on the areas which need a little push. Initially I tackled a design project out of the sheer visual aesthetic of it, but I can see that now I am more organized and calculated as to what am I doing and why. Looking at the presentation made by my peers, made me realize how all of us carry a common interest in creativity yet everyone has their own flavor to it. Some of us might have similar ways of working but it is still so distinct which mesmerizes me.
