The project Form to Formation began on 28th September 2020 to 9th October 2020. It was a very insightful journey to understand the origin of forms and how they coexist with us. This project exercised our pre existing knowledge of material and help manipulate them to have an outcome of a basic form leading to a more complex one.

Form: A visible shape or structure of an object.

Formation: Something possessing structure or form.

Additive Form: Forms which are produced by relating or attaching one or more forms to its volume.

Subtractive Form: Forms which will have a portion removed from its volume.

Extrusion Form: Expanding a shape

Face Of A Form: A face is a flat (planar) surface that forms part of the boundary of a solid object.

Characteristic/ Properties of P.O.P
Hardens when exposed to moisture and the allowed to dry.
Its temperature rises when its kept to set (Exothermic in nature).
Generally doesn't shrink and crack after drying if the mixture is made correctly.
Takes 7-10 min to set and should be kept for preferably 24 to 48 hours to fully dry.
White- Off white in color. Brown/Nude color when water is added. Once dried the mix turns white.
Non-flammable and non- combustible.
Generally low chemical reactivity but can act as an oxidizing agent under extreme conditions.
Decomposes at high temperature to generate toxic oxides of Sulphur.
Is available in a powder form.
It is moldable; the mixture can take shape of any mold its put in.
Poulomi, I am very happy to see that you took my last feedback to improve your Learner's Log. There is a marked improvement from descriptive writing to analytical and reflective writing. Keep it up!
